GULLIVER'S TRAVELS

Gulliver's Travels is a film that was quite interesting and fun to watch. But it is only normal film that we will know how the end was. Although it is a movie adapted from the book, but I never read the book. Therefore, it is impossible I know this film will end. The film was developed in line with existing technology. That was very fun and entertaining to watch, but the fun was disturbed by the idea that I knows how this film will end. However, any film starring Jack Black,is a must for all to came out and watch. Good for Jack Black, but not for the film . Premiere at the end of 2010 but not such a blast film for the closing year of 2010. To the director of this film, Rob Letterman, continue direct animated film. Your real life film doesn't work out. Sorry.

HANTU KAK LIMAH BALIK RUMAH (GHOST OF KAK LIMAH RETURN TO THE HOUSE)

Another work from Mamat Khalid. Infused with style. Very funny, scary and funny again. A continuity from Zombi Kampung Pisang. It is very suitable for viewing by all levels of society. Although I'm having a fever while watching this film, it is still something great. The film is about a return of Hussin to Kampung Pisang to tie again romance with former fiancee who left to work in Singapore has experienced a frightening incident. Kak Limah, Hussin's neighbor was supposed to be a ghost. Though Kak Limah a madman who managed to escape from the mental hospital. Many events are funny and scary in this movie. Pak Abu and Pak Jabit character are very effective. Although old, they still provide a strong commitment to this film. No wonder this film reach RM 1 million within one day. I recommend to everyone to see this film as long as there is time. One more thing, if there is selling box-set of Mamat Khalid's films, at the time I bought it. Our films, our faces.

CROSSING OVER

First reason why I watch this film is because Ray Liotta on it and a day before I watch this film, I saw Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones, so just think about him. This is 2009 film, an immigrant film that I'm not really interested to watch it but I took a chance. I just want to develop my mind into something, so I think watching a film about immigrant will help me and it does. This film is not a good film and all I can say this film is full of PREJUDICE! The Jew happily ever after and the Muslim suffer? I am Muslim and I'm not agree 100% in this film. But why I watch in on the first place? Such a stupid film ever! Its only misunderstanding but the authorities judge the Muslim's girl like that. Wait till you watch this film. I understand some part of the film which an immigration helping one Mexican's family ( permit thing etc ), a cop help a Korean boy (American-citizen-to-be) from being a killer and robber but the Muslim part? Its way too much. There's no such thing 15 years old Muslim girl form Bangladesh want to be a terrorist. Its will make sense if 20 years old Muslim boy form Bangladesh want to be a terrorist. She too young want to do that. She's a rebel, of course she will write something that mostly all teenagers will write. Such a suicide thing, crazy thing. I'm just say it. People out that can watch and judge this film as well. I don't know what else I want to say. I'm too mad and full of anger after saw this film. Its only a film but the script writer and director as well may start to think wisely if trying to put Muslim and crack it up because you're totally wrong. These is not the subject that you can put easily into a film. No wonder this film are dishonored!

CORRINA CORRINA, MOLLY, DEB, TINA MAJORINO...???

Corrina Corrina is a very good-hearted movie. Its a 1994 film that I saw a few months ago and watch it back couple days ago. This film is about a Manny ( Ray Liotta ) begins looking for a nanny to take care of his daughter, Molly ( Tina Majorino ) after his wife dies. After many interviewing of a nanny, he hired Corrina ( Whoopi Goldberg ) , an african-american nanny. And yes, you can smell some racial in this film. We can see from a scene when Corrina's sister wants her to date a black man while Manny's best friend wants him to date a white woman with two children. This film is based on 1950's, so I think people might think its awkward to date other races. Even its a warm and good-hearted film, it also has a comedy. Well, its Whoopi Goldberg. She's funny. But not to forget a little Tina Majorino. She's damn cute. After a few days watching Corrina Corrina, I saw Napoleon Dynamite and there she is. Tina Majorino is the only girl that can tied her hair like that. One side ponytail belongs to her. From a cute Molly, a lonely girl that losing her mother in Corrina Corrina to a weird, beautiful girl in Napoleon Dynamite that wins Pedro's heart. All I can say is, Corrina Corrina is a wonderful film and worth to watch. But I also want to say that Napoleon Dynamite is a low budget film that you must watch too. Why? Because the budget of Napoleon Dynamite film are $400,000 and it gross revenue are $46,118,021!!! So..
